Please write a 10-13 pages (in double space, Times New Roman font size 12) research design about a topic of your choice. This assignment combines the various brief assignments you have been working on throughout the Semester (see the Syllabus and see below). Your final research design assignment should also include an introduction and a conclusion. The introduction should briefly introduce the topic and justify it – but you should add a context subsection that gives historical or socio-economic background information and analysis. You should also add a brief section (after the methodology section) that shows how you intend to analyse your research findings. Finally, you will need to include a timeline for carrying out and writing up your research. Create a table that has two columns. Enter the activity on the left-hand side, and date(s) you will start and end or carry out the activity on the right-hand side of the table.

As discussed in class, in addition to literature specific to your research topic, please re-read Hesse-Biber’s Chapter 13, and relevant sections of Turabian, K. L. (2018). A Manual for Writers of Research Papers, Theses, and Dissertations, Ninth Edition: Chicago Style for Students and Researchers. University of Chicago Press
Also, please read and quote or cite the chapters of our textbook that discuss the theoretical framework and the methodology and research methods you intend to use. Tell the reader what terms you use or methodologies you will follow mean and why you chose this particular methodology.
Your research design document should be well-organized and well-written. The document should be free of grammatical mistakes or any other errors.
