Modern China History
Please give me twenty five separate “notes” for your paper. These notes could be sentences, bits of information, or even charts or images from your sources. For each note, you must include the exact source and page number where the note came from. Not all of the notes should come from the same source, but many or most can come from one source if you find that source useful. If several notes do come from the same source, you don’t have to include the full author and title information for each one, as long as that information is somewhere in your submission.
For example, a few notes might look like this:
“He [Hong Xiuquan] implemented many reforms, including eliminating court eunuchs, granting rights to women, eliminating opium, overhauling the tax system, ending slavery and outlawing the practice of foot-binding (a practice in which where girls’ feet were crushed over time into a wedge shape as a beauty symbol among the wealthy—but which left women crippled for life).”
