Mental Health Services in the US
In a paper not to exceed 500 words, discuss one of the following topics:
§ The recipients of mental health services in the U.S. represent only a small percentage of those in need. Discuss the factors that impeded access to mental illness treatment.
§ What factors were responsible for the shift of mental-health services from an institutional to a community-based orientation?
