Section 4 – Research Plan
4A – Biographical Sketch for PI, each Co-PI, and Key Co-Investigators (use NIH template provided)
4B – Budget and Budget Justification (use modified NIH template provided)
4C – Introduction to Application/Response to Reviewers (Resubmissions only)
4D – Specific Aims and Research Strategy (7 page limit, for revisions in the body of the application, highlight significant changes by bracketing, changing typography, or a line in the margin.)
Required Subsections: Specific Aims, Significance, Innovation, and Approach
4E – Description of Future Plans for obtaining extramural support and further develop the proposed project (provide a synopsis of your future plans, including provisional aims for a future grant application supported by the data generated with the Glaser funds, if awarded; describe how the work proposed in the Glaser application will support and enhance the probability that an extra-mural application will be successful; identify possible funding mechanisms, such as foundations and specific funding opportunities (RFA, PA etc.) and anticipated submission dates. Provide a brief description of the funding mechanism, in the case of an RFA or PA provide a short synopsis of the purpose of the RFA or PA.
